Fabian is awesome!!!! My 10 year old german shepard mix had some serious behavior and socialization problems; after the training, her behavior has improved a great deal! I am able to enjoy and trust her much more than I used to. Fabian is professional, very knowledgeable, patient, and affordable! I would definitely recommend his services; you will not be disappointed!

Fabian was great!  We had trouble diagnosing the relatively sudden mood swings Maverick was exhibiting and his increasing willingness to live up to his name.  Getting Maverick to return to us after multiple verbal commands became more and more difficult.  His gentle demeanor was changing with his park pals and eventually he began displaying an aggression we hadn’t seen before.  Fabian, during the first visit, was able to pinpoint the cause and proposed several solutions that all of us needed to work on.  Maverick had to focus on, interrupt and follow his commands and more importantly we had to learn how to communicate our expectations and assert our authority with Maverick without destroying his self confidence.  Fabian achieved that very early on and honed the skills with the weekly follow up sessions.

We went ahead and bought a beautiful three month old golden retriever pup and after the honeymoon period was over she began acting like a regular puppy. Doing everything from tearing up the yard to jumping up and nibbling on guests! We really wanted to correct that behavior and make her a polite and loving member of the family. The last thing we wanted was to have the kind of pet people avoid your house over. After reading all the great reviews on One Paw Forward we decided to call them up and give it a try. All I have to say is, WOW what a great decision on our part! Initially, I thought that one hour would not be enough to make a difference, but after watching Fabian's work on the first few lessons I knew we were down the right path. Fabian was extremely patient and friendly he not only made our dog Marley into a fantastic and obedient pet but he taught us HOW to communicate and read her behavior. In fact not only has he helped us instill proper behavioral traits in her, but his lessons have allowed us to address future problems and teach her new tricks even after the sessions ended! I strongly recommend One Paw Forward to anyone who has a problematic pup or just wants to learn how to communicate better with their beloved pets. Thanks Fabian, we appreciate all your help : )

Fabian has been working with me and my dog Bear for over a month. We started out simple...He taught me how to walk the dog not the other way around. Then sit, down, stay and come. I was very impressed how quickly we were able to teach the dog. Fabian taught me how to change the tone of my voice when giving commands and how to handle Bear's separation anxiety. He is great when I have a concern about something and need to talk about it between training sessions. When my dog got sick last week, Fabian was very comforting when I called him from the vet's office for advice. I was so upset because they wanted me to leave Bear overnight. I would recommend Fabian as a very good dog trainer, but also as a great coach for dog owners.

Fabian's guidance and support has been invaluable to Jaws (Jack Russell/Chihuahua puppy) and our family. We rescued Jaws from a shelter. He had an unfortunate past and needed a lot of work. Jaws had a lot of frustration, anxiety, and trust issues. Fabian was very patient with us and helped us to transform Jaws from the devil in disguise to an almost perfect angel. Jaws is now healthy, happy, and very well adjusted.

I was once a frustrated puppy owner. I tried researching online, in books, and even asking other dog owners for their suggestions... but it didn't help much. Finally, after some initial reluctance, I caved and decided to go with a trainer (i.e. Fabian of One Paw Forward) and OMG it was the best decision I made! Not only did my poodle pup, Sebastian (those of us closest to him call him Sea Bass), learn the basic and essential commands, I (once frustrated puppy owner and parenthesis lover) learned HOW to train and teach my dog. Fabian provides you with the tools and support you need to be a happy dog owner with a happy dog. He always followed up and checked up on us, even after Sebastian graduated. So worth it.
